Management Advisory: The Navy’s Management of Incinerators at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (Report No. DODIG-2026-060)

What We Did:

This final management advisory provides the results of the DoD OIG’s review of concerns identified during the DoD OIG’s work on Report No. DODIG 2025-041, “Audit of the DoD’s Management of Air Quality Issues at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti,” and the same concerns observed during our recently issued Report No. DODIG-2026-058, “Audit of Air Quality Concerns at Chabelley Airfield, Djibouti.” The objective of this audit was to determine whether the Navy managed incinerator operations at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ), in accordance with DoD regulations.
