Evaluation

In February 2021, we plan to conduct a systems review of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division Command’s (USACIDC) Internal Control Systems for Criminal Investigations and Supporting Programs. The objectives of this review are to determine the extent to which:

  • USACIDC internal controls and inspections are suitably designed to efficiently and effectively provide reasonable assurance that USACIDC personnel are complying with DoD and Service investigative standards and policies to ensure high quality and timely criminal investigations;

  • USACIDC investigative support programs provide efficient and effective support to criminal investigations; and

  • USACIDC personnel respond to and investigate allegations of criminal incidents, as required by DoD and Service policy.
