Project Announcement: External Peer Review of the Defense Information Systems Agency, Office of the Inspector General Audit Organization (Project No. D2020-DEVOS0-0133.000)
We will begin the subject peer review in June 2020. The Government Auditing Standards require that an audit organization performing audits in accordance with the Government Auditing Standards undergo an external peer review every three years by an organization that is independent of the organization being reviewed. Our objective is to determine, for the period ending May 31, 2020, whether the quality control system for the Defense Information Systems Agency, Office of the Inspector General audit organization was designed to provide reasonable assurance that the policies and procedures related to the system of audit quality are suitably designed, operating effectively, and complied with in practice.

Project Announcement: Evaluation of DoD Medical Treatment Facility Challenges During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) (Project No. D2020-DEV0PB-0136.000)
We plan to begin the subject evaluation in May 2020. The objective of this evaluation is to determine the challenges and needs DoD medical treatment facilities (MTFs) encounter in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. We may revise the objective as the evaluation proceeds, and we will also consider suggestions from management for additional or revised objectives.

Project Announcement: Evaluation of the Navy's Plans and Response to the Coronavirus-Disease-2019 Outbreak Onboard Ships (Project No. D2020-DEV0SI-0127.000)
We plan to begin the subject evaluation in May 2020. The objective of this evaluation is to determine whether the Navy has implemented policies and procedures to prevent and mitigate the spread of infectious diseases, such as coronavirus-disease-2019 (COVID-19), on ships and submarines. In addition, we will determine whether mitigation measures that are effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19 were implemented across the fleet. We may revise the objective as the evaluation proceeds, and we will also consider suggestions from management for additional or revised objectives.
Project Announcement: Evaluation of DoD Lifetime Buys of Parts Used in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems (Project No. D2020-DEV0SI-0131.000)
We plan to begin the subject evaluation in May 2020. The objective of this evaluation is to determine whether DoD Components are complying with DoD policy and guidance when conducting lifetime buys of parts used in Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and whether the use of lifetime buys reduces DoD supply chain risks. We may revise the objective as the evaluation proceeds, and we will also consider suggestions from management for additional or revised objectives.
Project Announcement: Evaluation of the U.S. Combatant Commands’ Responses to the Coronavirus Disease–2019 (Project No. D2020-DEV0PD-0130.000)
We plan to begin the subject evaluation in May 2020. The objective of this evaluation is to determine how U.S. Africa Command, U.S. Central Command, U.S. European Command, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, U.S. Southern Command, and their component commands executed pandemic response plans; and to identify the challenges encountered in implementing the response plans and the impact to operations resulting from the coronavirus disease–2019 (COVID-19).
