Mission

Provide the DoD Office of Inspector General engineering and scientific competence required for audits, inspections, and evaluations in accordance with CIGIE quality standards. Identify fraud, waste, and abuse through independent, relevant, and timely technical inspections and evaluations of DoD complex programs, processes, and suppliers, and improve in defense system acquisition, operation, and sustainment by proactively addressing issues of concern to Congress, DoD, and the public.
