Project Announcement: Followup Audit on DoD IG Report No. DODIG-2014-097, “Transfer of DoD Service Treatment Records to the Department of Veterans Affairs,” July 31, 2014 (Project No. D2016-D000XD-0201.000)

We plan to begin the subject audit in August 2016. Our objective is to determine whether the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness; Director, Defense Health Agency; Commander, U.S. Army Medical Command; and Commander, U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery; implemented recommendations in DoD IG Report No. DODIG-2014-097 as agreed.
