Project Announcement: Oversight of the Audit of the FY 2026 U.S. Department of the Army Working Capital Fund Financial Statements (Project No. D2026-D000FI-0011.000)

The purpose of this memorandum is to inform you of our planned oversight that will begin immediately. The Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, as amended, requires this audit. We are reannouncing the subject audit, announced January 8, 2025 (attached), to inform you of an extension to the period of performance. The period of performance end date has changed from December 31, 2025, to December 31, 2026, to transition the Department of the Navy Working Capital Fund financial statement audit to a two-year audit cycle for fiscals years 2025 and 2026.
