The objective of this evaluation is to determine the extent to which the Services are taking action to provide guidance and training for the 2024 election campaign season to help ensure that military members comply with DoD Directive 1344.10, “Political Activities by Members of the Armed Forces.” We may revise the objective as the evaluation proceeds, and we will also consider suggestions from management for additional or revised objectives. Annual Report to Congress Pursuant to FY 2021 NDAA, Section 554 (DODIG-2024-034)

This annual report addresses the reporting requirements pursuant to section 554 of the FY 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Section 554 requires the DoD Inspector General (IG) to submit annual reports to keep Congress informed on findings and recommendations related to: (i) the effects of policies, programs, systems, and processes of the Department, regarding personnel, on diversity and inclusion in the Department and (ii) the effectiveness of such policies, programs, systems, and processes in preventing and responding to supremacist, extremist, and criminal gang activity of a member of the Armed Forces.

Quality Control Review of The Rodeheaver Group, P.C. FY 2021 Single Audit of the National Center for the Advancement of STEM Education, Inc. (DODIG-2024-035)

This final report provides the results of the DoD Office of Inspector General’s quality control review. We conducted this quality control review in accordance with the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency “Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation,” published in December 2020. We previously provided a copy of the draft report and requested written comments on the recommendations. We considered management’s comments on the draft report when preparing the final report. The management comments are included in their entirety as an appendix to this report.
