This final management advisory identifies observations made during the DoD Office of Inspector General’s (DoD OIG) “Evaluation of the Air Force’s Actions to Identify and Respond to Harassment of Service Members.” We previously provided copies of the draft management advisory and requested written comments on the recommendations. We considered management’s comments on the draft management advisory when preparing the final advisory. The management comments are included in this advisory.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Manpower, Personnel, and Services, agreed with the recommendations presented in this management advisory; therefore, we consider the recommendations resolved and open. We will close the recommendations when they provide us documentation showing that all agreed-upon actions to implement the recommendations are completed. Therefore, within 90 days please provide us your response concerning specific actions in process or completed on the recommendations.
