Storch announced today that the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) released the management advisory, “The DoD Should Analyze the Use of Barcode Scanners for Conducting Inventories of Defense Articles Requiring Enhanced End-Use Monitoring.” This management advisory is part of an ongoing series of reviews evaluating the DoD’s efforts to monitor and account for defense articles subject to enhanced end-use monitoring (EEUM) provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Storch announced that the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) released the classified “Summary of Oversight Reports on Security Assistance to Ukraine to Inform Possible DoD Efforts to Support Israel and Other Future Foreign Assistance Efforts.” The evaluation identified and summarized systemic challenges and recommendations from 32 previous oversight reports related to DoD security assistance in Ukraine.

Inspector General Robert P. Storch announced today that the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) released the “Evaluation of Select DoD Senior Colleges' Response to Allegations of Harassment.” The DoD OIG determined the extent to which the Army War College, Naval War College, Air War College, and National Defense University responded to allegations of harassment in accordance with DoD policy. The Senate Armed Services Committee requested that the DoD OIG conduct this evaluation.

Storch announced today that the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) released the “Evaluation of the Accountability of Ukraine-Bound Equipment to Sea Ports of Embarkation in the Continental United States” and a related management advisory regarding the Naval Support Activity Crane, Indiana. The evaluation examined whether DoD Components effectively account for defense materials provided to Ukraine from their points of origin to seaports of embarkation within the continental United States.
