Report on a Government Purchase Card (Redacted)
We conducted this audit in response to a request from the Government Accountability Office. Based on questionable purchase card transactions, the Government Accountability Office requested we perform a review of the purchase card program transactions. The Government Accountability Office's main concern was purchases being made at high end retailers, also known as " gold plating." We expanded the scope to assess whether government purchase card program at the classified organization complied with applicable laws and regulations. Appendix B discusses our review of the Government Accountability Office identified purchase card transactions.
